For me, this destroys one of the remaining scare stories coming from the global warming camp. Bleaching corals, usually attributed to pH lowering from CO2 absorption, is something that rings true to me. Turns out, the bleaching may actualy be a result of people's sun tan lotion.

Indeed; like all scientific papers on climate change, I hesitate to use words like 'is', 'does' or 'will' so I used "may". Other options were 'might', 'could' or 'it is a possibility that'.

I think most life on the planet is having a hard time, and it's important we are aware of it. But I also believe evolution is driven by stress.
As long as we've got people growing cacti in east London, I reckon we'll be ok!
